Viner Cheristin and his wife crossed paths at Philadelphia Church of God in Delray Beach in 2011. While Viner's wife had been a member of the Church since her time in Haiti, Viner himself underwent baptism on August 6, 2011, marking the beginning of his spiritual journey within the Church. Initially, his wife did not favor him much, but through God's intervention, their relationship took a positive turn. Both actively involved in the Church's youth program, Viner took the initiative to engage in conversation with her. Eventually, in September 2012, God orchestrated their deeper connection, leading them to unite in marriage in August 2014.

Our Story
Following their marriage, Viner and his wife recognized the importance of devoting more time to their spiritual connection with God. As a result, they initiated a prayer line, initially involving Viner's sisters and a small group of Philadelphia Church members. Despite facing various challenges, their commitment to the prayer line persevered throughout the years. In June 2017, Pastor Viner received ordination, marking a significant milestone in his spiritual journey. Around April 2018, they also began hosting Bible study sessions at their home, further deepening their understanding of scripture. Continuing their dedication to the prayer line, they remained steadfast in their nightly prayers until they received God's guidance to establish Victory In The Darkness Church on November 4, 2018.
